Here is version 1.4 (Mac) of my Unicode keyboard “Syriac with French keyboard.” The Windows version is available here

Installation

Usage

1. In your word processor (e.g. Mellel, NOT Microsoft Word), place the cursor where you want to input text with this keyboard.
2. Click on the menubar language icon, and choose “Syriaque avec clavier français”
3. You can now input text using this keyboard. Don’t forget to use a good Unicode font such as Meltho.
4. Once you’re done using this keyboard, click on the menubar language icon and choose “French.”

Vowels

Vowels are located on the corresponding keys of a French keyboard:
