Recent archaeological excavations conducted at Herodium have revealed new inscriptions.

The Herodium (or Herodion) is a unique fortress-palace built by the famous King Herod the Great and located a dozen kilometers south of Jerusalem.

Esther Eshel and I invite you to join us next Thursday, 11 April 2019 at noon, for a preliminary presentation and discussion of these inscriptions.

The seminar will take place at the French Research Center in Jerusalem (CRFJ), Shimshon Street 3.
