Monthly magazine Biblia, in its January 2009 issue, also presents our Qumran Library Project.
The article, entitled “An expected publication: the Qumran Library,” is laudatory. The first paragraph reads : “the fact is impressive: after more than two thousand years of silence, the ca. 900 manuscripts exhumed in 1947 from the Qumran caves will become intelligible again … everything these manuscripts had to say will soon be reconstructed and available to all.” This should sell! 😉
Beside André Paul, Katell Berthelot and Thierry Legrand (project co-directors), I am privileged to be mentioned as “a computer scientist originally” (I hold a degree in Mathematics, Computer Sciences, and Applications to Sciences). I’m also the main author of this volume, with more than 40% of the texts.
