You may have heard that I was accused of having an inappropriate behavior with my students at the University of Strasbourg. These accusations are false and come from my ex-wife. Here is what happened.

I was the victim of domestic violence and harassment by my ex-wife. She was arrested and detained.

The judge issued a protection order in my favor, forbidding her from approaching me or contacting me.

I took legal action regarding the custody of our child. I also filed for divorce – and obtained it.

My ex-wife then multiplied false criminal complaints and false testimonies against me: at least five complaints in five years, between 2021 and 2026. All of her complaints were dismissed after police investigations.

She even produced a false medical certificate about our child, which she used against me. The doctor was found guilty and was condemned. He said he was manipulated by my ex-wife to write this false attestation.

She keeps harassing me and trying to destroy my life, my career, and my relationship with my child. When a case is dismissed, she files a new criminal complaint. When I prove that a testimony is false, she comes up with a new one.

She abused the #MeToo movement and contacted French news website Mediapart / Rue89 Strasbourg, which wrote a wrongful article. Under pressure from the media, the University suspended me, all the while stating that accusations of « rape, sexual harassment, sexual propositions, and psychological hold » were dismissed.

I appealed this unfair suspension, and I won; the University was condemned to reintegrate me.

But my ex-wife never stops: she came up with a new false testimony, hence a new suspension. The infernal cycle continues.

Thus, even now, after I obtained a divorce and thought I would be protected from my ex-wife, I continue to suffer from her violence and harassment.

Fortunately, most of those who were contacted by my ex-wife refused to lie. I received the support of an incredible number of former students, from all classes and years, who attended all of my courses, and who deny those false accusations. They testify that I always have an appropriate behavior.

On the contrary, students enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and proximity of our Theology Department.
