I will be in Leipzig on June 5, 2016 for an international conference on “The Relations Between Israel and Aram in the Biblical Period.”

I have been invited to talk about Aramaic ostraca excavated in Maresha which I recently photographed.

A workshop dedicated to these ostraca will be chaired by Esther Eshel, with whom I work on the publication of these fascinating inscriptions.
