I will be in Saint-Avold on May 28, 2016 for a public conference on the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Qumran is one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. Who lived there? Did they write the famous Dead Sea scrolls? What do these mysterious manuscripts contain? Why weren’t they immediately made available to the public? What do they reveal about the birth of the Bible and Christianity? Were Jesus and his disciples in Qumran? These are some of the questions that will be dealt with in this conference.
This lecture will take place on May 28, 2016 at 17:00, Route du puits, 57500 Saint-Avold. For more information, please contact Thélème, the organization that has invited me to give this conference.
