I am in Jerusalem for an international symposium on “Rethinking the Jewish War (66-74 CE).

The Jewish War, which famously led to the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem by Titus in 70 CE, will be studied in the light of new evidence and a new take on known evidence: historiography, epigraphy, numismatics, archaeology…

This three-day symposium (Oct 30 – Nov 1) takes place at the prestigious French School of Bible and Archaeology in Jerusalem (École biblique et archéologique française de Jérusalem).
