I have been invited to give a lecture on the Jewish origins of Christianity and its emancipation.
Jesus of Nazareth’s first disciples formed one of the numerous movements within Judaism. This movement later emancipated and eventually became an independent religion known as “Christianity.”
When and why did this emancipation occur? That’s what I will discuss on 11 January, at Sainte-Claire’s Monastery in Jerusalem, at the invitation of ecumenical organization PTEP.
