I will be in Maisons-Alfort on Nov 28, 2017 for a public lecture on the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Qumran is one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. Who lived there? Did they write the famous Dead Sea scrolls? What do these mysterious manuscripts contain? Why weren’t they immediately made available to the public? What do they reveal about the birth of the Bible and Christianity? Were Jesus and his disciples in Qumran? These are some of the questions that will be dealt with in this conference.
Come Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 2:30pm at Nouvel Espace Culturel le Charentonneau, 107 Avenue Gambetta, 94700 Maisons-Alfort.
This conference is organized by Université Inter-Âges de Créteil et du Val-de-Marne.
Entrance is free for UiA members, €5 otherwise. For more information, please contact UiA.
See you next Tuesday! 😄
