Are there differences between the oldest manuscripts of the Bible? Why? How do they impact our understanding of the biblical text?
These questions are the object of Textual Criticism of the Hebrew Bible, a course I teach this semester at the Catholic Institute of Paris.
We will study several passages with comparison of Hebrew, Greek, as well as Aramaic, Syriac or Latin witnesses.
The course starts today, January 25, at 2 PM!
