I have been invited by the Centre of Excellence in “Changes in Sacred Texts and Traditions” (CSTT) at the University of Helsinki. 🙂
CSTT is funded by the Academy of Finland and directed by Prof. Martti Nissinen. It aims at a more comprehensive understanding of the emergence and influence of the Hebrew Bible within the multicultural milieu of the ancient Near East. It provides an interdisciplinary approach to cultural, ideological, and material changes in the period when the sacred traditions of the Hebrew Bible were created, transmitted, and continuously transformed.
I have been invited to lecture about “Biblical Forgeries: Dead Sea Scrolls and their Forerunners”.
You are most welcome to join us next Wednesday 27 March 2019 at 16:00! 😉
