I have arrived today at the French Research Center in Jerusalem!

The CRFJ (Centre de recherche français à Jérusalem) belongs to the network of French research institutes abroad, under the authority of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS).

It welcomes researchers in Humanities, including History and Archaeology.

I have come to the CRFJ to conduct research in Jerusalem on alphabetic texts from the first millennium BCE Levant, especially Hebrew and Aramaic inscriptions and manuscripts.
