I will be the first speaker of this meeting, with a conference entitled “The Hebrew Text of Isaiah 8:1-8: Problems and Stakes.” Other conferences will follow on various topics such as the Septuagint Greek translation, medieval commentaries, Jewish medieval and modern exegesis, and Protestant readings. Did you like Qumran, the Dead Sea Scrolls Revealed? So did the Lions Club Montigny les 3 Villages: I have been invited to come and give a conference on the same theme.
Who lived in Qumran? Who wrote these manuscripts? In what way did they revolutionize the study of the Bible? Were Jesus and his disciples at Qumran?… There are some of the questions that will be answered.
