Here is version 1.4 (Mac) of my Unicode keyboard “Syriaque AZERTY.” The Windows version is available here

Installation

1. Click on the following link to download my Mac keyboards: Claviers Michael Langlois (Mac).
2. Open the archive and double-click the document named “Double-cliquez” to copy the keyboards. If a message warns you that the developper is unidentified, go to  > System Preferences > Security and authorize the program. Restart your computer.
3. Go to  > System Preferences > Keyboard & Text > Input Methods. Make sure the option “Display Input menu in menu bar” is checked, then click the “+” button to add one or more of my keyboards (since I have keyboards for French, Greek, Hebrew, Syriac…).

Usage

1. In your word processor (for instance TextEdit), place the cursor where you want to input text with this keyboard.
2. Click on the menubar language icon, and choose my keyboard
3. Once you’re done using this keyboard, click on the menubar language icon and choose “French.”

Vowels

Vowels are located on the corresponding keys of a French keyboard:

• pthoḥo suscrit : touche a ; souscrit : MAJ+a ; pthaḥa : ALT+a ; zqapha : ALT+MAJ+a
• zqopho suscrit : touche o ; souscrit : MAJ+o ; rwaḥa : ALT+o
• rvoso suscrit : touche e ; souscrit : MAJ+e ; zlama pšiqa : ALT+e ; zlama qašya : ALT+MAJ+e
• ḥvoṣo suscrit : touche i ; souscrit : MAJ+i ; hvaṣa / ʿṣaṣa : ALT+i (ou ALT+u)
