I will be in London on 9-12 July 2018 for the International Organization for Targumic Studies (IOTS) meeting.
Targums are the Aramaic versions of the Hebrew Bible, and for its 9th international meeting, the IOTS will focus on the Aramaic dialects within their Late Antique environment and the development of the Targums within their wider interpretative milieu.
This meeting is organized jointly by the Institute of Jewish Studies, University College London, and IOTS. I want to thank the president, Willem Smelik, for inviting me to talk about new Aramaic inscriptions in light of the Targums.
