Following the publication of DNA tests on Dead Sea Scrolls, I answered Empreinte’s questions on the origins of these artefacts.

Not only do these tests confirm my identification of fragments of the Book of Jeremiah, but they also raise the issue of the origin of the animal skins used to produce Dead Sea Scrolls.

I have long argued for a diverse origin of Dead Sea Scrolls and artefacts, including for the Book of Enoch’s first manuscript and some of the so-called scrolls jars. This new study is in line with this theory, and I want to thank journalist Hélène Masquelier who contacted me for an interview.
